A close group of friends who saw the need to rejuvenate the water sources and protect trees came together and started clearing the waterways and cleaning up the surrounding by themselves. It slowly picked up momentum, more people joined in, became a strong organization planting up to a thousand plants per year and seeding up to 10,000 per year.
